The journey has come to an end!
Good day, dear readers. Our journey has now come to an end, and we are sitting at the airport, waiting for our airplane to Norway. We have had a really good time on this trip, and we have got lots of memories.
All we can think of right now is how lucky we have been and how grateful we are for this wonderful trip around the English speaking world. We have experienced so much which we will remember for the rest of our lives.
This blog has been very supportive to us, both by letting you readers know how we were doing, and for us to remember the things we did. We are so grateful to you, our readers, who have held this blog alive and have supported us by reading the posts we have written.
We have learned so much about the different cultures, heard the different versions of the English language, and developed our English as well. We also did a lot of shopping, which is something we both love! We have also got many new friends, something we think is very cool! Now we have friends from all over the world!
The experiences will be remembered for ever. Thank you for a wonderful travel around the English speaking world. We hope we will see you soon!

New York!
Heeeey!
This was our last city in the U.S. and also the last city of our trip. Neither of us has been to New York earlier, so we were very excited. We arrived very early in the morning, so we had a whole day in this fantastic city. And I promise you; New York is really a fantastic town. We know that ending our trip in New York was the best solution.
First we went to the Empire State Building. This is a world famous, must see, attraction in New York. The skyscraper is 443 meters tall, and has 102 plans. Luckily we don’t have any fear of heights.

Then we walked through Central Park. We recommend you to wear good shoes, because the park is so big. It was a lot to see and do there as well. It was very fun!
We also took a guide bus around in New York City. There we could se the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Times Square and more.
Later we did the last shopping and went back to our hotel. After traveling around in the English speaking countries for days and weeks, we are exhausted. Now we just want some sleep, before we leave tomorrow.

San Francisco!
Wake us up in San Francisco!
Today we arrived San Francisco, California. San Francisco is known for the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and for China Town. The city is also a financial center, and it is ranked the eighteenth in the world's top producing cities. We spent a whole day in the city, and visited the main attractions.
Something we thought was strange in San Francisco, was that many chineese lived here. Later we understood, because China Town was really big!
At this square we had dinner.
San Francisco is a city in which many movies has been filmed. That is because of the long, special streets which are very steep.
Alcatraz is a former prison. Nobody has ever accomplished to escape from here. That is because of the ice cold water and the long distance from the island to the main land.
This is a picture that we took under the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather was very misty that day, but this is how it normally looks like:

We have really experienced the U.S a lot, just by being in these two cities. The U.S. is a large country, divided into 52 states. The U.S. borders to Canada in the north and to Mexico to the south, and it lies between the Pacific ocean and the Atlantic ocean. The U.S. is the third largest country by both area and population.
We have visited Los Angeles and San Francisco in California, and the first thing we experienced was how big everything was! We felt so small in these large, beautiful cities. Here is a gigantic Apple store in San Francisco.
We felt really small under these high buildings.
Tomorrow we arrive our last city in the U.S, but also the last city of our whole trip! Stay tuned!

Change of plans!
Hey Friends!
We changed our plans a little bit. Instead of being three days in Canada, we decided to leave to the U.S. today. Since our trip is over on Friday, we wanted to spend our last days in the land of opportunities. We had very little time, but we felt leaving Canada was the best thing to do.
Today we have been in Los Angeles. This is one of Sofie’s favourite cities in the whole world. There is so much to see and do, but we only had one day. Here is some pictures form our day in LA:
Very early in the morning we went to Disneyland. This was so much fun! If you are going to Los Angeles, you have to visit Disneyland. We really recommend it.

Later we went star-spotting in Hollywood. We didn’t see anyone famous, but it was very exciting anyways.
After Hollywood we went to Venice Beach. There we just walked down the pier and did some shopping. It was very beautiful.
I the evening we ate amazing food. And now we are just chilling in our hotel room.
TTYN- Talk to You Later
